TOPOGRAPHY MODEL TEST
Topographic model tests are primarily conducted to evaluate
the characteristics of wind direction and wind speed influenced by large-scale terrain
the characteristics of wind direction and wind speed influenced by large-scale terrain
In Topography Model tests, a scaled model of the target terrain is constructed, and the distribution of wind speed and turbulence intensity is measured using anemometry systems such as hot-wire or Cobra probes. Based on the measured wind speed and turbulence data, the approaching wind flow at the construction site is analyzed to assess the influence of the surrounding topography.
