TESolution has participated in CWE 2018, held in Seoul, Korea as an Exhibitor and attracted number of visitors from various academic institutions.
Our miniature AMD model originally designed for CTBUH 2017 Sydney was on display again to show its effectiveness in controlling wind vibration to the visitors.
Professor Kenny Kwok from the University of Sydney visited TESolution facilities on June 15th to check our latest technology in vibration control device and wind tunnel lab.
Particular attention was paid to our AMD(Active Mass Damper) technology as it can be seen from the above picture where Prof. Kenny Kwok is checking out our CTBUH 2017 minuature AMD model.
Another point of his interest was our test tower where TESolution engineers test the performance of AMD. The 5 story tall structure is designed to be easily shakable by AMD, so that the control performance of AMD can be easily felt by the person at the top floor.
We look forward to have an opportunity to work with Prof. Kwok on possible new projects in the future.

Check our AMD miniature model in action. AMD(Active Mass Damper) uses accelerometer sensor to detect the building sway movement and sends the signal to the control panel(in case of our AMD miniature model, PLC(programmable logic controller) was used instead). With the control algorithm, AMD's moving mass changes its position to optimal location to maximize the control performance against wind-induced vibration.
Throughout two days (Sept 9th and 10th) officials from Myanmar Ministry of Construction Department of Bridge visited TESolution for witness test of Myanmar - Korea Friendship Bridge. The bridge will be built across Yangon-Dala river, which will allow the local people to travel more smoothly and quickly. With many parties involved, our wind tunnel facilities were more crowded than ever. We look forward to seeing you again in Myanmar!
TESolution Annual Workshop was held in Phuket, Thailand.

Looking forward for the next one already!
MOU meeting between TESolution and Diparimento di Meccanica, Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) was held at the Galleria del Vento of POLIMI. The team had exchanged great insights on the future of the project that we are working together on. It was great to see Prof. Diana again, and to meet Prof. Zasso and Dr. Argentini for the first time.
The witness test for the Haeundae Beach Resort(LCT) for the residential facility and lower podium part was conducted on the Boundary Wind Tunnel Facility of TESolution. The wind pressure test was performed.
The resort consists of three skyscrapers, ranging from 85th to 101st floor. The three surface roughness B,C, and D were applied for the test.
