On May 3rd, 2019, there was a signing of the contract for Wind Tunnel Testing of My Thuan 2nd Bridge in Vietnam between Dr. Kim, CEO of TESolution, and Mr. Son, the General Director of TEDI(Transport Engineering Design Inc) at TEDI's office in Hanoi.
It was a wonderful time for us to introduce our company as well as our products and service we offer in the field of wind engineering such as our wind tunnel testing facilities and track record, Tuned Mass Damper, and Active Mass Damper for various buildings and civil structures. Once a state owned public company, TEDI has turned to private company in 2014, and now is the biggest civil engineering firm in Vietnam. TESolution is grateful for everyone at TEDI who had attended the meeting as they have been an enthusiastic audience during our presentation, with special thanks to Mr. Son, the General Director and Mr. Dung, the Deputy General Director of TEDI who have provided us with this great new business opportunity in Vietnam. TESolution has designed the vertical TMD to control the vibration of the main girder of the Haneda Bridge in Tokyo Japan and produced a TMD prototype for testing at TESoluion Structural Lab.
This time TESolution engineers visited the workshop in Japan to inspect the fabrication procedure of TMD as well as to test the damping performance of oil damper as well as TESolution designed silicon damper. TESolution has installed its first bi-directional Pendulum TMD on top of the Taichung Treasure Garden residential high rise in the city of Taichung, Taiwan.
The installation procedure has been divided into several steps and TESolution engineers have installed the oil dampers, the tuning jigs as well as the buffer system on 150 ton pendulum TMD mass supported 6 cables during this installation trip. We still have one last trip left to work site during which TESolution engineers will commission the TMD system. Can't wait to see the whole system after completion. TESolution has won the supply of Tuned Mass Damper for the Greenland Centre Sydney in Australia!10/10/2018 TESolution has won the supply of Tuned Mass Damper for the Greenland Centre Sydney in Australia.
Greenland Centre wil be located on the corner of Bathurst and Pitt Streets in the heart of Sydney CBD and with the height of 235m, it will make the tallest residential building in the city once built! TESolution has participated in CWE 2018, held in Seoul, Korea as an Exhibitor and attracted number of visitors from various academic institutions.
Our miniature AMD model originally designed for CTBUH 2017 Sydney was on display again to show its effectiveness in controlling wind vibration to the visitors. Professor Kenny Kwok from the University of Sydney visited TESolution facilities on June 15th to check our latest technology in vibration control device and wind tunnel lab.
Particular attention was paid to our AMD(Active Mass Damper) technology as it can be seen from the above picture where Prof. Kenny Kwok is checking out our CTBUH 2017 minuature AMD model. Another point of his interest was our test tower where TESolution engineers test the performance of AMD. The 5 story tall structure is designed to be easily shakable by AMD, so that the control performance of AMD can be easily felt by the person at the top floor. We look forward to have an opportunity to work with Prof. Kwok on possible new projects in the future. From April 5th to 9th, all of the TESolution employees went on a company trip to Saipan, a tropical paradise island in South Pacific Ocean . It was a great time for all of us as we truly enjoyed variety of outdoor activities in the beautiful emerald colored ocean as well as the dinner retreat at Korean restaurant "Nae Dae Moon" for two nights in a row!
Special thanks to our CEO Dr. Kim for this unforgettable experience. On January 5th, all of the TESolution employees went on a ski trip to Jisan Resort. It was great time for all of us as we truly enjoyed skiing as well as retreat dinner party. that followed by Karaoke time.
Special thanks to our CEO Dr. Kim for this great opportunity. Myanmar Dala Bridge full bridge model for wind tunnel testing was on display at temporary showroom prepared by Myanmar Department of Bridge from Nov. 16~18th.
Wind tunnel testing was conducted by TESolution from July to September 2017 at TESolution boundary layer wind tunnel. |
