TESolution has participated in CTBUH 2017 which was held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane from October 30th to November 3rd as an exhibitor.

With the goal of boosting our company's brand awareness and emphasize on our core services, our exhibition consisted mainly of wind tunnel testings we had conducted for numerous high-rise buildings and long span bridges all over the world as well as our vibration control devices such as TMD(Tuned Mass Damper) and AMD(Active Mass Damper).

Miniature AMD working model
The highlight of the exhibition definitely was our miniature AMD working model.
With the miniature model of AMD in action, the visitors could actually see for themselves how effective AMD was in mitigating side sway movement(wind-induced vibration against the structures in actual life) while maintaining very compact dimension compared to passive type TMD. In case of our AMD below the damping of the model increase by 13% which is so massive that it is actually difficult to observe the AMD controlling the side sway movement as the action is complete in the blink of an eye.
