SungUI Stadium & Residential Complex
▣ High Frequency Force Balance Test - Determine wind-induced structural load for structural design and evaluate wind-induced acceleration for serviceability (residential buildings) ▣ Wind Pressure Test - Determine wind loads for cladding design (residential buildings, stadium) - Determine wind loads for structural design (stadium) ▣ Pedestrian Level Wind Test - Assess wind environment for pedestrians level |
The complex will be located at Sungui-Dong, Nam-Gu, Incheon, and consists of three residential buildings (one 47th floor, two 51st floor), with maximum height of the taller building being 180m.
With large span roof structures, such as the U-shaped stadium in this case, it is difficult to assess the wind pressure that will be applied both on top of and on the bottom of the roof. As the wind effect from the residential buildings was also anticipated, Wind Pressure Test was conducted to determine the wind loads for cladding design and structural design. Whereas, the High Frequency Force Balance Test was conducted on three residential buildings, the Wind Pressure Test was conducted on all of the models with the stadium and the residential buildings. |
