From Sep. 17th to 21st, 2009, everyone at TESolution went to Palau Islands in Southern Pacific for workshop. Our employees had a great time enjoying the beauty of the great mother nautre and it was a valuable time for us build close bond with each other. Since we had a chance to rejuvenate ourselves from hard working, now is the time for us to get back to our positions and work even harder!

From Aug. 24th to 29th, TESolution vibration control team completed the 1st phase(P9) of the installation of the vibration control device on the #3 tower of the Geoga Bridge's cable-stayed bridge for controlling the wind load.
The vibration control device on the #3 tower is a pendulum type TMD that is designed to control longitudinal movement. TESolution, with the goal of controlling the wind vibration, installed vibration control devices(pendulum type TMD) on Namsan cable cars(two vehicles). Our target goal was to the reduce wind vibration by 40% at the 1st tower and after the performance test, we found out that wind vibration indeed was reduced by 40 ~ 60 %. We expect that this result will contribute in structural safety and pleasant ride environment from wind vibration.
